Venture out and gather with those closest to you for a lunch surrounded by splendour at Magistracy Dining Room or dine like champions with Buenos Aires Polo Club’s regal brunch affair all set to deliver a spectacular afternoon. Embrace family and enjoy shared dishes al fresco, tucked away in Maison Libanaise’s colourful rooftop oasis or choose to stay active over the long weekend and hike up The Peak for an Anglo-Indian breakfast at Rajasthan Rifles overlooking the city. For the sweet tooth in the city, order a treat from Butter, from indulgent signature cakes to a picture-perfect Easter special.

No matter the style of celebration, make the long weekend a relaxing, rejuvenating one as you gather with those closest to you to break bread, welcoming in a season of hope and a fresh start.

GRILLADES À LA MAISON AT MAISON LIBANAISE
Spend the holiday the Beiruti way and feast on an Easter Sunday edition of Maison Libanaises’ weekend feast Grillades À La Maison. The grilling feast is rounded out with a selection of signature starters and mezze from Lebanon before sinking into a line-up of dishes prepared on an open-charcoal grill, all available in infinite servings. Expect to see Head Chef Teya Mikhael’s signature touch on traditional dishes including Trabousle Shish Taouk, a chargrilled chicken skewer served with tomato and caramalised onion or Kasbse Tiger Prawns, kabse spice, garlic, butter marinated prawns. Indulge in the newly added Ayras Kafta, served toasted and sandwiched between the walls of pita. The entire afternoon affair is inspired by Chef Teya’s childhood, where weekends and holidays were best spent with family and friends over an infinite spread of barbecued meats and seafood.

EASTER LUNCH AT MAGISTRACY DINING ROOM

Bask in the splendour of the grand London-inspired dining room as you select from a menu of classics crafted by Chef Matthew Kirkley. Tailor the Easter weekend feast to your liking and select à la carte from the dining room’s signature dishes and set the stage to impress both family and friends. Kick things off with a selection of seasonally rotating Oysters (price varies; served by the half-dozen) or premium Petrossian Caviar before enjoying a selection of signature starters. From the Pacific Blue Prawn Cocktail using Osi-blue prawns to a choice of salads including the Magistracy’s Endive & Stilton Salad with Stilton blue cheese, crystal pears and candied walnuts or the hand-chopped Steak Tartare using Blonde d’Aquitaine beef and served with Japanese egg yolk and grated Parmigiano Reggiano DOP.

The show-stopping mains include a choice of wild-caught Dover Sole Goujons or Turbot served En Papillote , or the Easter feast not-to-be-missed Prime Rib, carved tableside. With a selection of side orders, the afternoon meal is best spent in a leisurely way before tucking into a selection of puddings, from the traditional Sticky Toffee Pudding to the Burnt Cambridge Cream.

CLUB BRUNCH AT BUENOS AIRES POLO CLUB

Sharpen your steak knife and revel in a regal afternoon at Buenos Aires Polo Club, where a regal Club Brunch awaits in the handsome equestrian-themed clubhouse. Sink into the rich leather banquettes surrounded by antique oil paintings and prime your palate with brunch exclusive Entradas including the Plato de Mariscos with Argentinian prawns, poached Boston lobster, oysters and more and the Gaucho Omelet studded with spicy chorizo and shavings of provolone. At the heart of the brunch sits the General Pico Black Angus Ribeye, tender and lean as it is slow cooked for 12 hours. The sumptuous affair is rounded out with a selection of Argentinian sides, and an indulgent Tostada Dulce Fondue. Make it a true Polo Club experience with infinite servings of classic Martinis, prepared to your liking.

AGNELLO ALLA SCOTTADITO AT ASSOCIAZIONE CHIANTI

Head to the Tuscan trattoria and spend the Easter weekend gathered around a cosy table with family and friends as you savour a Tuscan Easter feast. Staying true to the tradition, Associazione Chianti is celebrating with a stunning table centrepiece; Agnello alla Scottadito, grilled lamb chops with fennel and mint salad. Choose from an extensive selection of Super Tuscan and Chianti wines from well-known vineyards across Italy or let the sommeliers take care of the decisions and simply enjoy Pasqua.

EASTER SPECIALS AT ARTEMIS & APOLLO

Following the time-honoured Greek ritual of eating lamb at Easter, Wan Chai’s Athenian taverna invites you to gather around the table with your family and friends. Begin with a selection of signature mezze and a refreshing Greek Village Salad before moving on to the show-stopping Easter special, Braised Lamb En Papillote served with caramalised shallots, potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The Easter weekend feast ends on a sweet note with a special Tahini Fudge Brownie.

BREAKFAST ATOP THE PEAK AT RAJASTHAN RIFLES

The long weekend awaits and with the arrival of spring comes cooler weather, making for the ideal hiking weather. Jumpstart the day by marching up The Peak for a feast of Anglo-Indian signatures as you overlook the best views of the city. Kick things off with the officer favourite Rifles’ Rolls, tandoor-baked naan wraps brimming with spicy cheese, tomato chutney and stuffed with a filling of your choice or opt for lighter fare and try the Company Grade A Granola, a paleo muesli blend served with fresh, fruit, natural yoghurt and manuka honey. For a more nostalgic breakfast dish, try Bhurjee, Chef Plash Mitra’s rendition of the classic scrambled eggs piled up on sweet milk buns and served with masala-roasted tomato.

For those looking to satiate sweet tooths over the long holiday weekend, look no further than Butter’s signature carrot cake in a compact and cute 6-inch round, just in time for the Easter bunny’s arrival.
